Glowing Pigs
Speaking of zodiac animals, three glowing piglets have been born to the world's first flourescent sow, up in Harbin, according to the Environmental News Network. Mom apparently turned bright green back in 2006 when her embryo was injected with a flourescent green protein, which causes both her and her offspring to glow under UV light (great for raves). The technology is part of an effort to breed transgenic pigs to provide organs for transplants. No word yet on whether or not flourescent green bacon tastes any different.
